Высший административный орган федеральной судебной системы США, возглавляемый председателем Верховного суда США [ Chief Justice of the United States]. Создана Конгрессом США [ Congress, U.S.] в 1922, современное название с 1948. Занимается разработкой политики управления системой федеральных судов [ district court]. В состав Совета судей входят главные судьи федеральных округов, окружные судьи и главные судьи Претензионного суда [Court of Claims] и Апелляционного суда по таможенным и патентным делам [ Court of Customs and Patent Appeals].
